Family and Friends,
This week was awesome! We have been working super hard and have been receiving the blessings for our work. We have seen many miracles and it is such a great opportunity to be a part of this amazing work. I am so grateful to be here in Mexico!
Well we had a miracle for the final week of the transfer. 8 days ago me and Elder Pace were running around everywhere trying to get people to church, trying to help people understand what was going on and trying to help the other missionaries in our district. Well, we were super busy and just trying to get into sacrament meeting where we could relax for a few minutes. Well after about 30 minutes we had to run out into the hall to grab something. We walked out there and there was a woman standing at the end of the hall with her 13 year old daughter Fernanda. Usually I wouldnt think anything of it but I decided to shake their hands and ask if they were members of the church because I had never seen them before. The mom said {No, but my daughter wants to be)
Well as a missionary those are about the best words you can possibly hear! She then went on to tell us that she had been to church 3 or 4 times with her aunt and that she has a bunch of cousins who have served missions. We made an appointment to go meet with her on Tuesday, went there, taught a lesson, asked her to be baptized on Sunday and she accepted!!! It was awesome! Her baptism yesterday went great and she even invited one of her cousins to come and baptize her!!! It was a great experience to see the Lord preparing people to receive his gospel. Elder Pace is going to continue working with Fernandas family!!
Well today we had trasfers and I got sent to the Pueblos again. The place is called Ixlawaca and its about 2 hours outside of mexico City! I am now working with Elder MontaƱo from Puebla Mexico. He has been in the mission for 6 weeks and I am going to finish training him! I am super excited to be in a new area and meet new people! This work is amazing and I am loving every second of it!
Miracles Exist! put your trust in the Savior and he will provide a way!
Have a great week!
